Okay, so first Magnolia was drawing a bunch of people as Pokémon trainers, and then Blue was drawing herself and her pokémon, and I wanted to play the game too so here’s me as a Poké-trainer with my smeargle Beardsley (I had a really hard time deciding between drawing smeargle and shuckle).

Some sketch-messes from two new projects I’m beginning work on now that Seven Stories from the Sea (and TCAF) are off my plate.
One is a quartet of lovely and loving (gender)queer fairy tales- I’ve batted this idea around for years and I think I’m finally ready to actually tell these stories.
The other is more for fun: character designs for a fake fighting video game called Ultra Monster Fighting Girls. I’ve made a long list of groan-worthy monster puns and now I want to draw a bunch of tough-shit monster fighter ladies. I’m starting with Gruella the mantigore, and an as-of-yet nameless gamer Oni (Pwni- get it? GET IT?????)
Fun stuff.

I made a reblog/repost/reply/silly doodles/nonsense blog because I felt like it was about time and it had to happen. I want to talk with people more and Tumblr makes it almost impossible to communicate so maybe this will help.
Feel free to check it out at LUONGOMAPLEBACON.TUMBLR.COM
(I’ll make a better post for this later.)

I am back from Toronto! TCAF was literally the best show I have ever been a part of- so many amazing, talented, incredible people- I need to work really hard starting right now so I can get in again next year. I am INSPIRED.
Please enjoy these sketches from the flight to Toronto (I didn’t draw at all on the flight home because I had way too many comics to read and I’m a guy with priorities [the priorities are comics]).

Hey you- yes, you! Are you in the Greater Toronto Area? Do you like comics, art, and zines? Are you a fan of FREE EVENTS? Well then you should head over to TCAF (the Toronto Comic Arts Festival) this weekend!
I’ll be there- second floor- table 234! I’ll have zines and comics and prints and minis and buttons and my brand new comic Seven Stories from the Sea! I’d love it if you come by, check out my stuff, and say hi- so many amazing people are going to be there, I’m intimidated and overwhelmed but EXCITED.
tcaf! tcaf! tcaf!

Did someone say “more Yogscast street hockey AU”? … No? Oh. I’m really sorry, then.
Anyway, since the last drawing of it was such a success I drew some more of the YHL while flying home from Portland the other day. I… I’ve thought so much about this. I’m sorry.

I called Kory a Sad Twitter Princess the other day and she’s napping right now so I’m using her fancy cintiq to draw the saddest twitter princess.

Another character from Headlines and Deadlines.
Ebbett is a will-o-the-wisp. Ebbett doesn’t work at the tabloid- Ebbett doesn’t work at anything. Ebbett was bound to Adrien (who does work at the paper) when Adrien learned that you could bind a wisp to you if you took a part of them (it’s meant to be a single hair or a fingernail, but Adrien took much more than that [Ebbett’s entire pinky finger]). Ebbett can take a human-ish form, but Ebbett can’t be touched (if you put your hand on Ebbett it would pass through them and your hand would be numb for days), and Ebbett very rarely maintains a completely solid form.
Ebbett is made entirely of magic, which means that being around Ebbett for a prolonged amount of time gives people all sorts of unpleasant side effects- hallucinations, anxieties, insomnia, nausea, etc. Ebbett finds this very entertaining- the fact that Ebbett is slowly poisoning Adrien is a source of great amusement for Ebbett.
Ebbett is a… concentrated character.
More cast and characters from Headlines and Deadlines: Vinny (batboy), Craig (Beast of Bray Road).

Everyone always makes highschool AUs and coffee shop AUs but nobody ever makes street hockey AUs.
I’m here for that niche- I’m that guy- I’m the one who will take up the banner of the hockey AU.
Their team is the Sips Co Sips Cos (Kory thought that one up- thanks kory)

TCAF is soon! Will you be at TCAF? I’ll be at TCAF! I’ll have a BRAND NEW COMIC premiering at TCAF!
Seven Stories from the Sea is a cute queer 32 page, completely silent, black and grey comic told in seven chapters that span over the course of seven years, about growing up and coming out and falling in love in Atlantic Canada.
Seven Stories from the Sea will be available at TCAF, along with issues of the Orange Octopus gender zine, both issues of the Eerie Beast Book, my foldy comic Sea Song, and a print-exclusive Kyle & Atticus mini called Fairy Ring.

A bunch of sketches of my Minecraft character/avatar, Ronan (the master villain selkie).
He (I) spends a lot of time messing with redstone and sticky pistons to make secret rooms and obsidian farming machines.

I finished a huge last minute project this week so to reward myself I took a day off and drew a bunch of Yogscast. They are so fun to draw.

I have been getting a lot of new followers recently so I thought: why not introduce myself a little bit? Sure, why not.
Hi everyone! My name is Sfé (it sounds like ‘sfey’ and rhymes with ‘hey’ and goes pretty well with ‘get out of the way’). I’m Canadian, in my mid-20s, and I live and work in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I’m a genderqueer dude- my pronouns are “he” and “eh.”
I do a lot of drawings and zine building, and in the past year I’ve gotten into comics. I am currently doing a weekly comic called Kyle & Atticus that is a genderqueer coming out story about a kid named Kyle- and Kyle’s best friend, a robot named Atticus. It updates every Wednesday and can be read for free on Tumblr- check it out! I also coordinate the Orange Octopus gender zine- a zine focused on the creative collaborative celebration of gender identity outside of the binary- it’s on hold for the moment, but the fourth issue will begin production in early June.
My work is all about gender identity and being genderqueer. I have just… loads of character and stories geared towards genderqueer topics (I’m sure if you’ve followed me you’re at least dimly aware of that). I also draw a lot of monsters, and do frequent fanart for whatever my needle is stuck on (right now it’s Yogscast).
I watch a lot of hockey (the Canucks), my favourite movie(s) is(are) the original Star Wars, I really like selkies and baby seals, and I’m pretty MLG at Tetris.
I don’t generally talk a lot on Tumblr, but I have a twitter. I tweet a lot. If you have a twitter we can be friends on twitter and tweet together.
Okay that’s it- I feel a little silly posting this, but I thought it would be nice to get to know you all. Hi how are you, how are you doing, how has your day been. Let’s get to know one another.
